Qt for Python (PySide/Shiboken)

Hey, everyone I've been having this problem for a while now and I've tried a bunch of things and it doesn't seem to be working. What I'm looking for is to create a transparent window and then add another widget on top to make it look like an overlay effect. The problem is, the code I've written so far doesn't work and I only get a black screen in the output. Here's the code: https://pastebin.com/AB7rp9Mn

Not yet, we need to branch out dev soon. Many people from the team went out of office so we haven't done it yet
