@cmaureir in fact it is weird when I post on the new KDE matrix instance it seems my messages reach this telegram room, but when you answer I only see your message on the older matrix.org instance
anyway, I asked few month ago about doc/examples on how to publish on PyPi binary wheels with custom C++ code wrapped with Shiboken, I didn't see any answer, is this something supported? I can see some people pushing PyQt/SIP binary wheels but I didn't find anyone doing so with PySide/Shiboken. Unless I missed something the issue I see is that since shiboken generator isn't published on PyPi, I have to build it myself in a way that allows building "universal" binary wheels of my wrappers for each platform.
what's the step that's not clear from the process? if it's everything, maybe a tutorial might be written but it will be a bit redundant with https://packaging.python.org/en/latest/flow/

Then my python extension module get linked to my self built pyside/shiboken which has a specific name like 'libshiboken6.cpython-310-x86_64-linux-gnu.so.6.2'. While the PyPi Shiboken dll is 'libshiboken6.abi3.so.6.3'. This means that I should build pyside from the same env than PyPi's PySide(pypa manylinux_?) to get shiboken-generator and produce a wheel usable from PyPi?

if you want to have shiboken as a dependency, then yes, you need to use the same version, then use the sabe shiboken_generator version tied to a release, and configure it locally to use it: https://qtinfo.dev/qtforpython/#/12

it's a commercial issue based on a feature planning related to Enums
