Hi there.
What PySide6 version supports Python 3.11? I've upgraded the OS just to find out that I can't use PySide6 < 6.4.
Moreover, having Qt6 == 6.3.1 installed, I've tried to compile PySide6 from the source. I applied a couple of patches, until Building CXX object PySide6/QtGui/CMakeFiles/QtGui.dir/PySide6/QtGui/qabstracttextdocumentlayout_wrapper.cpp.o resulted in free(): invalid pointer error, which I can neither trace nor resolve.

We have support in the 'dev' branch, soon to be PySide 6.4.0

you need to clone pyside-setup, Install Qt6, libclang, and other dependencies, and run:
python setup.py install —parallel=X # having Qt 6.4 in PATH.

if you are unfamiliar with that, you can always get the wheel snapshots from https://download.qt.io/snapshots/ci/pyside/dev/latest/split_wheels/, those should be 3.11 compatible.

I can compile Qt6 == 6.4 from source, but the wheels may speed everything up. I do confirm that all I need from PySide6 works fine from the wheels you've provided.

If the issue could be reproduced easily, the devs would be aware of it. I can't promise I report the issue. The only part worth sharing was to replace NPY_ARRAY_UPDATEIFCOPY with NPY_ARRAY_WRITEBACKIFCOPY in sources/shiboken6/libshiboken/sbknumpyarrayconverter.cpp to satisfy the newest numpy. As for the rest, I have only three lines of the error message, which I've provided earlier.

I tried the branch for Qt6 == 6.3.1, which is supplied with the OS I have.
I did follow https://doc.qt.io/qtforpython/gettingstarted-linux.html, including git clone https://code.qt.io/pyside/pyside-setup.
If you have fixed that, then never mind the other problem I've faced. The wheels work, and that's almost all I require. Unfortunately for me, there is an issue in Qt6 (both 6.3 and 6.4, never tested 6.2) itself, but that's another story.
